Last Minute tips for CDS exam
Do not read new topics: Reading new topics is not beneficial. Just go through the old topics you studied before.
Mug up all the basics: It is essential to mug up all the basics and concepts. You are advised not to go in deep detail.
For OTA do not appear for Mathematics
Remember those who have applied for OTA (Officers Training Academy). Please do not appear for Mathematics paper. This paper is only for IMA/AFA/NA. If you attend Maths paper your paper will not be evaluated.
Have an eye upon:
- planning commission
- finance commission
- pay commissions
- law commissions
Carry a black ball pen
If you have noticed it is clearly written on the admit card to bring a black ball pen with you. As answers in the OMR sheet are marked by black pen only.
Bring your Photo identity proof
Do not forget to carry your passport size photograph with photo identity proof viz. Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Passport,Voter I Card etc.
Reach examination hall before time
Candidates you must reach exam hall half hour before. As if you report 10 minutes after the reported time. You will not be allowed to appear in the examination hall.
Negative Marking scheme
You must be aware about negative marking scheme in CDS. So I highly recommend attempt the questions which you really know.
Take a long sleep
It is important to take a long sleep. Stay calm and relaxed. Keep your mind free by listening music.
Past years papers
Do you have practiced past years papers of CDS. If not start practicing from now.
Use whitener for mistake
If you marked wrong answer or filled examination centre wrong. There is facility of whitener over there. So ask your invigilator and use it.
